What an adorable and unique scene! Congratulations on this highly skilled presentation of a very special fishing lesson. (The teacher will not feed the turtles, right?) I also love the reflections on the water.

This is a lovely scene, but I also see the humor in this, because it actually looks like the turtles are watching carefully what the Heron is doing. Then of course the diagonal placement of the log they are sitting on is doing this photo more than anything. The all green water is a perfect background and both the bird and the turtles are standing out from it in the most excellent way.
To make this short, everything is working in this photo. It is sharp, the exposure is perfect, and the composition really strong. I wish you luck with the contest Willie.

The all green water is a perfect background and both the bird and the turtles are standing out from it in the most excellent way.
To make this short, everything is working in this photo. It is sharp, the exposure is perfect, and the composition really strong. I wish you luck with the contest Willie.

Impressive. Colors are bright, clear and sharp for this awesome heron and turtles are amazed. Reflections in waters are bright enough to see one turtle swimming. Properly detailed, shadowed and centered this is a magnificent photo in plus of being a great eye viewer.
