Astonishing painting and colors which are bright, clear, great and sharp. Sky colors are magnificent and waters in background awesome. One can see house and tress far away on left. Foreground is impressive and colors are dangerously magnificent with waters flying way up as diamonds with reflection of sun. Properly shadowed, detailed and centered, this is a gorgeous painting and magnificent eye viewer.

Beautiful composition that shows the power of the sea. Any minute I expect to get really wet looking at it, and feel the cold water hitting me and smell the sea air in my nose. The blue and green colors you use are right on. And I know too the sea foam is coming for me any minute.

Virtual 6, none left - this is a stunning painting, I love the flying crystals all over - it gives the powerful wave a playful character - your color application is handsome the details fine and spectacular in expressive natural combination of water and sparkles
the movements and flow in this painting strikes from the first view - genuine color range for the waters, the sky is just a perfect small cam contrast to the movement , a very beautiful work, thanks for sharing

Very good capture of the elusive big wave. Nice blue shading, and bubbles. good textures and action in the wave. When I am near the ocean I try to capture the crashing wave against the rocks in a photo. I love them. Well done

Like you, I live on the coast - high water 30 mtrs from front door - and like you I never tire of the water with its continuous movement, colour changes, noise and smell and as an ex seaman I lap it all up !!!

a great painting of the wave with lovely use of the different blues and greens and the appropriate creative brush strokes to enhance the curveture of the wave and then the dabbing of the brush on canvas to create the crest and the spray ...a lovely piece and good effort with acrylics..i prefer oils for doing waves

Many thanks for your nice review. Yes, I really prefer oils too but was unable to get to mine - must be great to have a studio - a spare bedroom is my storeroom for painting gear which is not easily accessible!

Beautiful painting! Love the vibrant colors of the water and the texture of the white splashes. Great contrast as well. One suggestion I have is to use a wider canvas next time, since the wave seems a bit cramped horizontally. Otherwise, this is an amazing painting, and your technique with acrylics is on point!
