I really like this one with the lovely ballerina and the blue curtain in the back in graduated shades of blue. I don't think I would have made the shadow so small though. Just my own opinion. Thank you for sharing,

This is an amazing painting. I immediately thought about Manet as soon as I saw it. I think that is because, for me, the dancer seems desperate to please her audience; dancing is who this woman is whether others appreciate her or not. Of course I might be being a bit fanciful :)
The composition is excellent. The colours lend to that slightly melancholic feel that I get from this painting. I love that... it makes it intriguing.

Oh! This is lovely! You certainly used the "rule of thirds" to your advantage in this painting! I also like the little shadow, reinforcing an alternate light source.
