Clever, creative, whimsical. A knowledge of cat psychology is exhibited as well since they always seem to have a high opinion of themselves. Very capably executed. I like how you got such bold colors with your pencils.

What a unique and clever painting with the subject painting himself as a tiger.
I also like the wooden easel you put in the piece. The small table holding the brushes is interesting too, but I'm wondering if some darker colors under to table top would help to make it look more realistic.

Oh just marvelous Raoul! LOVE LOVE LOVE that he's looking at himself and drawing a Tiger. Very imaginative of you. I have a Siamese cat who I KNOW thinks of herself like this....and a young German Shepard who also thinks the cat's a tiger.
Marvelous amount of detail...aren't colored pencils just the best! So well drawn and perfectly titled!! Best of luck in the contest.

I love the fact that your beloved Tiger was so confident in how he saw himself, he made himself look like what he felt inside in his painting, a real Tiger!! What a great concept! I just fell in love with your Art here. How adorable and quite lovely and such wonderful imagination you have in order to have created this piece. You didn't by chance go to the movies recently and watched that cartoon about what pets do while their masters are at work....I thought of that immediately when I saw your drawing (smile). You did an excellent job from the background to the mirrored image to the drawing the cat is painting to the entire composition. SIMPLY OUTSTANDING. In honor of your kitty....I hope you frame this and hang it in a special place to always remember the cat you have once loved bad cared for. Thanks for sharing.
