this is very beautiful, i love the caption. it clears up the picture so you can understand the meaning of the photograph. the colors are very contrasting which makes it even better. My favorite so far

Well you cropped it just right. There is enough of the blossoms left intact to give a nice contrast between the insect and the blossoms.
Your camera technique is spot on sharp and well programmed.
Color, contrast and lighting are all well controlled and contribute significantly to the overall eye appeal of this take.
The wing details are excellent - very sharp lines and clear separation of the spots on the wings.
The head and antenna appear to be just a touch soft. Perhaps increasing the Depth of Field might bring them into sharper focus.
This is well framed and a pleasure to view ... B-)) Bob

nice photo, seems to have been taken in bright light which makes red hard to photo because it has a tendency to flare, the butterfly is in good focus and is very pretty, nice

Nicely framed, the color of the flowers really sets this butterfly out as focal point. Nice focus, rich color, and the little bit of green fives it nice depth. Thanks for sharing and HAGD>

A wonderful photo of this Black Swallowtail. The bright colorful flowers make a beautiful background for this dark butterfly. The sharpness is excellent to show the details on the butterfly's wings. I like your composition with the butterfly's wings diagonal across the frame.

Beautiful photograph! Very sharp and the colors are gorgeous. The light on the butterfly is very nice too. I think it could be a slightly more dynamic composition if the butterfly was off center instead of exactly in the middle, but overall it looks great!
