I don't know anything about underpainting. All I know is that this is a wonderful portrait of this girl. The hair that looks blond really is a shade of brown. Unreal. This is excellent.

Sorry I do not understand 'underpainting' jesuel but this is just a wonderful piece.

Now I take it you did this in pastels before you do the 'in oils version' Is that correct?? Your model is so lovely...you have done such a marvelous job w/ her face...especially her hair.

I like this just the way it is. It will be amazing in oils. Can't wait to see it.

Nice composition with the subject portraying a quite seductive expression. The contrasting tones are good with good shadow effect around the neckline. I particularly like the sharpness and colour of her hair and the nice blended background to continue the softness that presents itself throughout the piece.. Excellent work

Recommend them, although
Expensive they are worth
Every penny... You can paint
Ontop of the pastel sketch,
No mess, no powder. I swear
