Hi Anon,
This is one of those things I have to see before I depart this earth and this image only helps to deepen my yearning. Lovely contrast against the artificial lights! R

wow..this aurora has been captured brilliantly and yes..if what magically. It looks as though it is just suspending over the city. The green hues are gorgeous and there is so much depth portrayed through the chiaroscuro tones . I like the structure especially as you have made the aurora the focal point with a minimal amount of cityscape in the foreground so there are no real distractions here in this presentation.

HELLO and you think anyone can top this entry? HA and good luck.
Spectacular catch, I'm green with envy. This is the kind of image that will stop viewers dead in their tracks at a Photo Exhibition.
I love how the bottom reminds us how little we are in the greater scheme of things.
You have taken my breath away.

thanks a lot Olga for your fantastic comments;
if Ilook atsome recent contest results, I cannot be optimistic....
-
sure beats a bunch of papayas :-) IMHO
-
how can I win with such stupid comments as the one I just received from GaliaG (with a 4stars):"too much sky, not enough of the bridge"
-
Galia is from Planet Nincompoop, I have had her muted on and off over the years....now imagine if she is one of the judges on a committee on this site. What a joke.
-
as you can see, I got only 2 votes, against 22 for Annie: nice but far away from a photograph
-
I do not follow contests. I start them, vote in them and forget them. Actually sometimes I even forget to vote. LOL Annie's work is top notch in my eyes.

it is an art masterpiece, but for me not a photograph anymore....
