The colors in this are natural. And your textures contrast each other nicely...with the detail of the mane and the bridle bringing this scene all into reality. An absolute delight to view! Again..good luck!

This is expressive photography indeed, and most of all I like the yellow-ocher transitions between the hairs of the horse and the reflections of the sun in the water... As well as the black-gray of the hairs, the same color as some parts of the background...

LOL...that is one crazy 'do' on that stallion Eileen. Looks like they use a curling iron as well as bleach doesn't it.
Your focus here is excellent....details all crisp and sharp. Colors are good. Nothing over-done....except for his bleached mane that is.
Filters I am not familiar with. I'm not sure what Topaz glow has done but gather that 'texture effects' is what has put all the spots around your horse? To be honest, I think I'd like it better w/o them but it's a personal choice. Sure looks like they have that chin strap cinched up really tight too.....maybe b/c he's a stallion.
Nice looking horse....excellent photo and like your title too.

Thanks Deb, the background was rather busy, that is why I always choose to change the backgrounds. Or sometimes I just go all black with them. Thanks so much for your review.

:) sure is Deb. I rather fancy doing the background changes a lot. I know most do not like them. But I stick to what I know and like :)

i can see this as a next fashion style at the equestrian in Rio this week..thatll turn a few heads believe me ... great presentation of this horse , nice sharp image with a great structure and the light background helps accentuate the horse as a focal point.

A great shot of the hair. Most of the time the personality of the subject is conveyed to a large part in the eyes. This is one of the rare exceptions. Great colors and fine cropping.
