a very nice rendering of the Asian Swallowtail. This could be used for identification purposes when posted next to the female. Great detail explanation which is exactly what one needs for field work. Great color contrast with the red flowers. Depth of field and background enhance the main subject. Best of fortune in the contest ~ Steve

A beautiful picture of the tailless Great Yellow Mormon Butterfly with slightly battered hind wings sucking nectar from the scarlet flowers inside a glass house. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

It's an interesting Butterfly and it's also quite a good looking photo!
