i am sorry for your loss , the sketch is a wonderful touching respect to her from her very talented daughter. The composition is exquisite with a delightful structure, the pose is very mums like with the arms crossed and the cheeky little grin as if she was addressing you as a child, as a daughter ,having done something mischievous...the tones are gorgeous with great use of the chiaroscuro techniques with a wonderful light bouncing around her head like that of a halo. It is a picture you can be very proud of , well done

Very sorry for the loss of your beautiful mum ,May you have special memories in your heart for ever - just remember although we can't see them any more our mums never leave our hearts ,its 11years since my mum passed but she is still in my heart every day /
I like the back ground .& like the profile & the slight sparkle in the eye I think she had either a cheeky grin or smile Like the hair beautiful style created perfectly by you .The shadow & light through out work is good .Like the dark top .& the arms folded in a casual style .A very attractive lady ( may I ask was she between 25 & 35 years of age in this photo?) a lovely work presented with love .Thanks for sharing your talent & the honour to view your mum .Thanks & the best of luck

Great drawing, and at first glance I thought it was Marilyn Monroe. A very timeless picture, almost looks like a photograph. The emotion is uplifting, as she is smiling, but also makes me wonder what she's smiling at and crossing her arms.

Tightly crop on top but I guess its not like that in the original creation.

I like the solidity and ethereal quality of this art. Those are two opposing elements I know but this woman looks well grounded as well as being kind and spiritual at the same time. Her stance speaks of her confidence, her beauty and glow of her kindness.
