What impact this has. This doesn't look real. But I know it is. Great sun. The whole photo works to well together. This is a six

A beautifully composed shot. The low lying fog is nicely shown and the glowing sun is fantastic. Best wishes in the contest.

A beautiful picture full of mystery the rising sun clouded by mist appeares half gold & half rose-red the mist rising from the dark trees clouds them in mystery as to what we cannot see then the dark mauve sky above adds to this feeling of the unknown. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

I like the DOF of the landscape in the fog ,how the trees & land are dark & not much colour as is normal in most very thick fog scenes .But the bright hot pink & stark bright yellow of sun ( I find doesn't fit the lovely fog scene -Yes I know you can't edit it & it is what you saw & photographed its just me .others will love the sun ,
) so I haven't taken any stars away .as mother nature gave you this view .& unusual sun in a lovely foggy view .Thanks and the very best of luck

    a question of taste;
    like others, I like the double color of the sun and the contrast with the dark landscape...

    Yes it is taste I like the sun - but I think your landscape with fog is spot on with out Thats probably because I like photos of fog & never really seen much sun where I live in fog , do you often get sun like that & not just in fog but at other times ? if so your very lucky
reply by the author on 12-Aug-2016
    very lucky because the fog was only at low level

This is fantastic! Fog, silhouette, and sun (rise) complement each other in building layers and thus a very beautiful composition . Placement of the sun is smart.

Well done and thanks for sharing.

Awesome photo, showing both warmth and cold here. The sun takes all the attention with its vivid colors, and the rest of the shot has a lot of coolness to it. Even though it's shot in Burma where it's hot, looking at this photo makes me feel somewhat cold from the use of the cool blues of the trees and the fog. I think it captures a side of Burma not many artists do: a refreshing, mild, morning side in anticipation of a hot active day in the jungles of this land.
