A beautiful macr picture of this iridescent green Blow Fly with those large red complex eyes, spiky black body hairs, extended tongue sucking moisture from the foul smelling Stapelia Flower. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

It's amazing how something that seems just like a pest can be so beautiful close up. The iridescent green is a beautiful color and the red eyes are amazing too. THese kinds of photos really show a whole new word. Thanks for sharing this!

Color are delightful. Love the shining body of the fly. Eyes are clear. Every detail of the fly and flower is pleasing eye.
