A beautiful picture of the Eastern Yellow Robin / Eopsaltria australis perched on the lichen covered branch. with the sun shining down on it to hi light is beautiful grey & yellow plumage. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & razor sharp focus.

Such a sweet little bird. And an excellent capture on your part..with no edits! Your clarity, colors, depth of field, light and shadows and framing have all come together nicely right out of your camera! The simplicity of the branch is a perfect palette for this colorful little guy. I may have slid the straight branch to the left a bit more in the frame so as to leave space in front of the bird and not so much behind. But that can be another time when you can crop! :D Well done! This is a very nice image. Great choice of aperture to really make the bird stand out. Nice textures on the tree as well. I think the bird could have been a little sharper. Perhaps a higher shutter speed or a touch more DoF would have resolved this.
