Truly funny! what an excellent shot for this contest. Such a big bird taking on this little tiny guy like he can really hurt him lol. The colors are nice as is the framing. Good luck in the contest!

thanks a lot ruthie; I appreciate your comments ; I 'm really surprized when people vote for certainly an excellent pic but who has nothing to do with the thema: something really curious, outstanding, not seen every day

Yes, the humour can easily be seen. I especially like that poor bird that is getting a scolding, look at that reaction...he's frozen.

Now this is a funny sight to behold. The comical stretching of the neck by this swan towards the intruder makes one wonder what thee intruder must be thinking. A very good entry for the contest and good fortune in the voting ~ Steve

What an odd image... It took me a minute to recognize the elements in the scene (being the "Funny" duck blends in so well with both the earth and debris of sticks). That said - it's like a puzzle that once recognized it can be memorable, rewarding and fun. Nice.

LOL what a great story telling subject. By the looks of this photograph it goes to show that not only humans have a personality. Great capture. the frame work is well composed and the lighting is well done. love the angle you got this one and the clarity as well as for the focus is well done. Great job.

now that's wild. never seen a goose do that before. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of the goose on its belly with the other birds is great. the capture of the light is great. the image Is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall

LOL...well DO like seeing Papa giving a hand by protecting his mate....what an unusual way to do it though.

Perfectly titled sg as it looks exactly like what the Swan may be thinking. Definitely needed the wwwwwide format here. Marvelous shot. I had no idea they did things like this.

Bet he'll do well in this contest.

A beautiful stop action picture of the Antipodean Black Swan his neck extended as hes hisses in the direction of the Rook who no doubt was looking for food, while a brown duck is preening on the bank in the background. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Is this because he is a little bit lazy or he really doesnt see any danger with these birds, maybe he just loves to stretch lol, this is really a cool shot,,just shows the character of this beautiful swan. great colour of the water and land, he is almost hidden as well, sneaky little guy lol
