What an interesting phenomenon to observe!
The scene puts me in mind of the myths surrounding the 'Queen of the Underworld' Grand Lilith ( sometimes called 'The Great Mother of Spiders') who's said to give birth to legions of tiny Demons every day!
What a fascinating picture!

A wonderful image of a fascinating moment in nature. So many of those little creatures will be eaten by birds, reptiles, etc. There has to be a lot of them. I like that the main "blob" is slightly off center and you did capture them going in all directions. Really cool photo and great for the contest. Good Luck.
