This is really nice. I have tried so many times to create a good still life but it never looks all that good. Your idea here is simple and very effective. I think the background may be the key. Good job!

a fantastic still life shot ...any traditional still life artist would be keen to put brush to canvas with this sort of shot..well i would !! The chiaroscuro technique is brilliant with a beautiful light bouncing off of the leaves that frames the rest of the image brilliantly. It is a stunning shot

Lovely post Annie, true to your artistry. Love how the vase , grapes, cacti float on the canvas without any border to define table or solidity. It could pass for one of the master's paintings.

This makes a lovely still life image. The detail is first rate the lighting is excellent and the color of the grapes and flowers on the jug compliment each other bringing the composition together and I like the strong background really shows it all up very well.

nice still capture. the setup is great. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of the fruit and picture is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall
