These are cute as can be, like your angle and the ripples of the water indicating movement. Nice colors and details in their feathers, a sweet shot. Thanks for sharing. Sharon/Bea226

a very good panorama framing of these curious ducks, never seen before; I wonder what is the reason for these strange feathers;
excellent sharp focus;

'Way Cool',Mary!
These 'Ozzy' ducks certainly aren't anything that we Yanks happen upon all that often ( or EVER,for that matter! : ) ) and your fine looking photo of this squadron of them paddling along looks Great!
'Good Show',my friend!

Thanks Sean was amazed at the variety of birds in that part of the country, bit boring now home we haven't got anything like the numbers of birds in south australia ☺

Now that you mention it,Mary,it's been pretty dull birdwise up here this past few months too! ( I wonder what's up? )

I think like the plants they are confused by changing weather patterns, whether it be a natural occurrence or bought about by humans it's definitely changing. ☺

I don't doubt that,Mary!

A nice presentation. I have never even heard of plumed whistling ducks. They are nice looking and nicely composed in this shot. The spread of their wing feathers is amazing.

Cute & candid capture with fine features and textures.
Haven't seen these creatures yet. Unique wing plumes.
Rule of Odds!
Monochromatic colors.
Panoramic framing.
Thanks!
