A fabulous presentation, you have my vote believe me.. The contrasting colours of the mothers red beak and the fluffy white /grey fluff of the duckling works beautifully. The picture is so apt for the contest title. The sharpness and structure all round is excellent

I'm a sucker for anything animal. This fluff ball against the feathered darkness of the mother offers an interesting contrast. Hard to capture anything like this to sit still for long.

The first impression is very strong in this image. Perfect for the contest rules.

The counter play of the dark and light colors works very well.

Sharp focus on the eye we see in both mother and child is perfect.

The background is pleasantly blurred and demonstrates a great DOF.
