CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR WIN. I WAS STUCK TO TWO PHOTOS...AND ONE OF THEM BEING YOURS....and it is funny, but the other photo that I was stuck on was the photo that was tied with yours (smile). This is such an interesting photo. I love where you were standing in order to capture this photo in this particular way. I like vertical landscape photos; however, I always get comments in Reviews..."Why vertical; it would be so much better horizontal."...just as an example. But when done right, they turn out to be awesome photos. LOOK AT YOURS!!!! I think it is perfect and it IS vertical. CONGRATS. Bravo Bravo...clap clap. Thanks for sharing.

I get motion sickness just looking at this. A great view of this winding road as it snakes it's way down/up the mountain. The angle naturally leads the eye to the far background. Very effectively done. Best of fortune in the contest ~ Steve

a beautiful catch of the twisting one car road making a steep travel either way.
nice color and depth of field as the river adds green but gives you a sense of how tall the mountain range is as it leaves the mind wondering.

So pleased you've included the lone car in this one. I would have not realized the immensity of this mountain w/o it.

Great job w/ focus considering there is such a large area and so much to include. Sky's a tad hazy but not enough to detract. Natural coloring...like that. Just know it is NOT a road I would want to have to travel very often. Best of luck w/ it in the contest.

This reminds me of the trail that I hiked to get out of the Grand Canyon...twice. Switchback after switchback. But, it does make the climb a lot less steep.
