A beautiful shot. The perspective is excellent and the flower is perfect. I like the sharp focus on the eye and the beautiful colors. If someone is complaining about the depth of field he must be used to shooting with an I-pad.

Thanks Mike appreciate your feedback. No only complaint so far was not being able to see tail but couldn't really ask bird to repose for me LOL :)

yes, you are right regarding his tail..this being the only thing letting this composition down as the rest is really well structured and clear with excellent sharp focusing. I particularly like the diagonal posture of the bird bringing the focal point to the right bottom corner yet leaving the wonderful plant to also draw in the viewers eye.

Thanks Neil wasn't really concerned about tail on this one couldn't ask bird to repose for me Lol Dick had made point on earlier upload where I had framed bird without his tail 😊 Mary

of course, you could'nt tell the bird to go further down because dick wanted to se the tail;
