This doesn't look like traditional art work but instead filter work, with mosaic filter as well.
Still the orange and blue hues make for a punchy presentation.

I painted the butterfly in acrylics. and the surrounding area in watercolours. Then i put image through various filters (can't remember the sequence till I got this strange utput:):) Thank you very much for your time, review and rating. I appreciate it.

I think this is a truly lovely painting of a butterfly, and it is really shining with the golden colors of its wings. The blue and black of the background emphasize this glow, and the butterfly is also standing out really well from it. The only thing I find a bit distracting are the cubes you have placed in the lower right corner. Being light colored that draw attention away from the butterfly.
The butterfly is painted paying very good attention to details, and I especially like the fine textures you have brought into it. By good use of high light, you also have brought life into the butterfly.
The way you have framed this image works well and the butterfly has got a fine diagonal placement in the upper left corner. It is a fine flow and balance in the composition. It is also an all together lovely and well crafted mixed media traditional art, and I wish you luck wish the contest.
