This is a great piece love the lighting with in the shadows you brought out here the dark colors with in this frame work really brings out the Whites of the sail boats out. Great job well done.

Interesting composition. It has a rather dark cool feel to it. Good contrast between the dark water and white sails. I would love to be sitting there. It's very relaxing.

Lovely scene; always wanted to go on a sail boat. I assume they're racing. Like the light and dark blues. Good depth; I may have gone a bit lighter on the water color. Thanks for sharing. Take care.

A good entrant for 'Perspective'

I do like the wide format clearly show the many sailboats in the race. Your water has a very dark....almost angry look in this photo. Different day from all your other lovely sail shots sg or just due to a different angle??

Excellent focus and exposure. Well detailed throughout. The little yellow spot that is the 'turn here' buoy is a great spot of color.

Best of luck w/ this one in the contest.

I had to use a darker setting of the camera in order to avoid blown outs of the whites

You have captured a great action scene here! I can nearly hear the wind in those sails. Your composition is fine but I find the sea to be far too dark for my liking. Pity!

Fred, the photo looks really dark but if you tilt your screen towards you we can see detail of the indigo waters.

That yellow buouy creates a nice anchor for our eyes.

yes, I decreased the setting by 2IL, otherwise the whites were blown out
