nice capture. bet the colors is awesome.the angle of the shot of treelines,water reflection,sunset and skyview is great. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall

You peaked my intrigue when you mention the beautiful colors before the photo was B & W, I would have loved to see those colors. Sunsets are on of most favorite things to photograph. I do however see the mystery in the B & W photograph. Thanks so much for the different perspective.

Thank you so very much for the lovely review, but I would appreciate if you stated the reason for deducting all the stars. The reason why the photo is in black and white is because of the requirements of the contest.

It seems to be a shame to convert colorful Sunset Images into Black and White to me too,my friend,but this one's still a really attractive picture!
It has an interestingly 'eerie' look to it that makes it very interesting and enjoyable to view! : )

this is an interesting one mainly because I am wondering what it was like in colour,sunsets do I think look better in colour,but understand this is for b/w,the lone tree sticking out gives it a bit of character though...brian

Very pretty shot. I like the way the sun reflects off the water and the way the clouds radiate outward. Nice contrast on the clouds. Foreground could be a little more distinct, but OK. Thanks for sharing.

....but because it was so beautiful in colour you have used those colour differentiations to your advantage when changing to monochrome.
The sky is gorgeous. For me personally, that branch takes away from the sky ....it is vying for too much attention (reminds me of a spoiled child) and gets it. BUT that is just me.
I think you did a great job with tonal grades giving a lot of depth to this photograph.

Thank you so very much for the lovely review Olga. It is different opinions about the tree (not a branch). Some love it and a couple would have liked it to be cloned out. I can only say that I actually deliberately included it to give the scene more character.

Oh I so agree with you,,but we can imagine the suns colours, you have captured a great photo,,the conversion is nice, the clouds are seen and the reflection is wonderful,,the tree sticking out is weird, too bad you couldnt take it out,,
