I am really glad you explained to me how this was done, because otherwise I would never have guessed. This is both original and creative, and with the strong green colors against the dark background, your photo has a strong visual impact. I also like a lot that the background is not completely black, but have some dark blue hues and textures.
To talk about sharpness and well defined details in this image is of course useless, but the cosmic flower you have created have great colors and is also nicely exposed. The little spots of golden high light is also adding interest.
I especially like the simplicity of this abstract and the chiaroscuro effect is evident. I also think the flower has got a very good placement within the frame, and the format works well. Your post processing worked out well, and I think this is a great looking abstract. I wish you luck with the contest.

I like this very much. And I can certainly see why you would be please when you viewed what you had captured with your technic. Your black background makes this very dramatic. And your movement of lines in your light make this appear to be a neon light of sorts.
The center detail is decent considering your camera was moving. Actually it is rather amazing that you got it that well!!
Your colors are good and not over saturated so as to take away from any detail.
Framing is perfect!! Good luck in the contest!

Thank you much for your thoughtful review. It was an ordinary light bulb, not neon. I softened the light and distorted the center detail in purpose with those filters in order to intensify the feel of movement.

Thank you very much! I didn't of reptilian, but now were you say that I think it is. It is probably Moctezuma, the green feathered snake-god of the Aztecs.
