Yes, the power of water is truly shown here,,love the mist, the trees in the middle of the falls, the framing of the tree on the left is good,,lovely blue sky at the top,,fast moving water is clear, crisp, well focused, and just beautifully presented

Looks like a great nature action shot to me! I am no expert on waterfalls but this one looks wonderful. Very well composed with fine supporting exposure. You seem to have captured the very essence of this great waterfall. Well done!

STUNNING sg!!!

You have perfectly shown the power of water and at the same time produced a really lovely photo.

I do like the way you've put this one together....framed by trees on either side....serene water in foreground before it crashes over and then on to massive amounts of white water and the resulting mist....lol...you got EVERYTHING into one perfect little square frame!!

Focus is spot on crisp and sharp.....colors are natural. A really well detailed....well considered photo sg!!

I like how you framed this photo. Look at the power in the falls. Did you hike down and take the other side of the falls.

    thanks so much;
    no hiking: just by car: the other side is Brazil

Wow! This is quite a scene. I am gasping at the extreme rush of the water over the mountains. I feel like I can reach out and touch the mist it has created.
What a lovely picture and what a great shot.
Best of luck, my friend.

Impressive capture Fred!
I think you did well on Shutter speed and exposure/white balance. I like your POV showing the trees on both sides and the misty fog like background adds to the mood of shot.
Nice entry for this contest.
Good Luck

A well composed shot from an excellent vantage point. I like the sweep of the falls and the trees among the mist at the bottom. Great colors and superb detail in the water at the edge of the chasm.
