I like the architecture of these buildings and the birds at the top stand out well. I might have tried to crop out the traffic light for aesthetics but it is an element that belongs to the city scene. I like how this angle delivers a nice view of the various building designs.

Glad you enjoyed the shot! I was lucky being in the middle of the road, but I was pretty quick about it!! Lots to see over here and the travel distances in Britain are not that big.

An interesting view of the Liver Building in Liverpool topped by the "Liver Birds" in semi silhouette against the pale sky, the clock reading 2.17 pm. & the traffic light showing green. Artistic composition, framing &lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Well NM, I see that traffic light is a real bone of contention w/ your reviewers. I'm afraid I also find it detracts from your lovely city-scape which, btw is VERY obviously a city-scape even w/o the light.
I'd never heard of Liver Birds...called that I imagine b/c it's Liverpool. lol...can't fool me. Your photo is nice and sharp....well detailed w/ natural colors. The traffic light I give you....I think it's a marvelous photo despite it.

Many thanks for your nice review and analysis! Yes, the traffic light does seem somewhat controversial and I can understand why, but I still feel its better if its in!! The birds are legendary in Liverpool and Britain.
