Thank you Mama Mia 1, I am so glad you like my art. I checked out your art too and was thoroughly impressed as well. I just used a number 2 pencil and a 4B pencil for the shading. Thanks so much for your kind words of encouragement!

your doing much better job on the nose. now a piece of advise. in future crop out that wire section of the notepad. when you presenting you work the viewer should see work only. any thing outside of that will distract the viewer and the presentation will not be professional. now facial expression is great. the detail is great. the shading is good. the creation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. creative and you know if that wire wasn't in there I would have given ya a 6 star on this. wink. great job overall

a creative little number with a good attempt at bringing depth into the sketch and with a bit darker tones in the appropriate places this would have undoubtedly been achieved..and use of the fingers would help blend the flesh tones to become more realistic..if that is your aim that is

An impressive artwork rendition. Monochromatic creation with excellent strokes & textures. Please add more hair instead of those floral accents on the side...as t grabs attention from the face.
Observe symmetry on eyes & nostrils...
