A really nice scene. I agree, the look on the little girls face shows that she is not terribly excited about the whole affair. The look of the mother is wonderfully "mother-like". The gentle touch of the Priest is such a nice touch. Very nicely done ~ Steve

Abeautiful picture of the little girl held in her mother's arms as the priest prays over her before the baptism in the font where she with be immersed into the water of the font so it covers her completely. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

I like this subject matter very much, and you have caught the moment beautifully, the colours work together very well, but may I suggest that there was less fuzziness around the edges of the figures,? Any way, if you are satisfied with the results ,then so am I.

a beautiful presentation of this important festivity in the childs life and inevitably the extended families too...The image has a softness and angelic feel about it and the expressions through use of the face and the arms on all the subjects are really effective within this very well structured presentation

This is a very beautiful photo and really expresses the little girl's feelings. She doesn't look too sure of the priest at all. I know the rite of the Greek Orthodox, my two grandchildren were baptized there. It is quite a colorful celebration.
