Wow this would be a six for me wish I had one a awesome presentation the black and whit looks fantastic so much to look at love the lighting in the back ground love the fallen tree the reflections on the water just a fantastic view excellent work done here best of luck and thanks for sharing

ability very good
I like the water & reflection .
the I like the trees and shrubs close to ground and in the DOF .also the cloudy sky with the lightning strikes .I also like the bounces of light here and there through trees .( the one thing that seems to overpower this creative work is The big trees I find just a little dark Just me no offence ,just a tad lighter I think would just make a perfect view .)

Oh how I love black and white. It adds so much depth and drama. Your digital creation is truly dramatic. Just beautiful. The soft glow of light filtered through the trees is breathtaking.

It is so many lovely details to look at in this work, and it is also quite original to show a sunset and lightening at the same time. How this is scene between the tall dark trees is also giving this digital painting a feel of mysticism.
You have paid a very good attention to details, but most of all I am impressed by how well you have used the light. It is also very good distinctions between light and dark in this image.
I also think the composition is very strong with a very good flow and balance. I think this is really well crafted digital painting and a lovely entry for this contest, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Reminds me of the forest bonsai pine I created way back in the island.
This must be a sunset judging from that lightning slashing the saturated skyline.
