It is just beautiful....I agree completely and another perfect entrant for this contest. Soooo glad I am not the only one deciding the winner for this contest.

You've put this together just right. I really like all the layers...starting w/ the dark softwood you've used to mark your right frame on through to the golden sky....linear clouds and that magnificent sun sitting there on them.

The colors are really outstanding...the mist gives your photo an ethereal quality. I like it a lot and wish you the best w/ your lovely sunrise in the contest.

I do enjoy viewing sunrise pictures as I never get up early enough to see them myself :) The orange glow across the skyline is excellent and the rays being muted by fog adds to impact. Nicely done. :)

A very special one - I love the glowing white sun ball with the yellow halo dancing on the clouds
the initial impact strikes in composition as well as the clam of the scene - it seems a shot from heaven as you are above to have such a straight position

great technical application, soft contrast and lighting

This is lovely. The gradations of color draw the viewer into the image, while the tree on the right anchors the whole. A nice preface to a bright new day. Check on some cats?

Sometimes nature just takes your breath away,and although this is a good photo,bet being there was even better,early morning providing you can get up and out makes for good photography,well taken photo...brian

Wow! This is certainly a beautiful welcome to the day over your hills or mountains. You were right to stop to capture it. And you did an excellent job capturing that essence of the morning fog in the vibrant light of a new day. Glorious colors!! Nicely defined silhouette of the fir tree in the frame as well. Clouds are an added texture and color...beautiful composition!
