I think the red autumn apples are the sweetest and juiciest. The painting makes me wanting to lay beneath that apple tree and look around the wonderful autumn landscape. I really like the colors you have used and the loose style, a bit like impressionism, but with a very personal touch. Its looking as if painted on canvas.

How fantastic this work is. I cannot believe what is created with digital painting. It looks so real and the depth and detail are perfect. I love how the apples are lying on the ground, covering it like a blanket of red. Great stuff.

Actually I think your 'problem' adds so much to this scene. The not so sharp and nicely muted colors adds to the beauty of the scene. So for that I think you hit a home run. I do hope you figure out whatever it is that you think you need for improving your images. This is a keeper ~ Steve

Thank you, Steve. Actually, it seems to have cleared up some all on it's own, LOL. When I first posted it, it looked pretty bad. Maybe it needed a little time to adjust to FAR. :)) I'll delete the sniveling from my notes, and again, thank you for the very kind comments and excellent rating. Both are deeply appreciated. :)shawn

Nice Fall-looking digital painting of an apple tree with ripe apples. Very interesting dark intense color combinations brought out by the bright yellow background and red ground covered with apples. I can almost smell them. The sight of the apples make me thirsty for a good rich spicy cider either cold or warm. Thank you so much for sharing this interesting digital work.

This is indeed a beautiful autumn scene, and you have painted it so well. I especially like the color pallet you have used. It is limited, and it is such a fine contrast between the deep red hues, and the light green.
This is also done paying very good attention to details, and your digital brushwork is excellent. You have also brought life and light into this image by your goof use of high lights.
The tight framing is perfect and the apple tree has got a very good placement off to the right. I think this is truly lovely and well crafted digital painting and with strong visual impact.
