This is another stunner from your place, Deb! And thank you for your typically wonderful and informative artist notes. I ALWAYS enjoy those along with your wonderful captures. The colors are rich in this and are framed beautifully in front of your gentle blue and white, clouded sky. A photo such as this is difficult due to the saturation of the rich colors. You have accomplished that control perfectly to show your detail and the beautiful colors. I think the clincher for me is the slope of green covered with the falling leaves...showing the lay of the land. Nice job keeping that in your frame and your tree to the right with that diagonal line of the back treeline moving gently through your frame. A framer!!! Wish I had a six!

I ALSO appreciate the wonderful and detailed review. I like this photo enough that I've already decided it will be October for my 2017 calendar....lol...a 'framer' of sorts, yes??? I really like the way you framed this photo and place the tree in a perfect spot in the space. Perfect composition and nice exposure to show detail in the shadows while keeping the sky from blowing out. Nice job!

Very nice colors. Your framing of the scene gives nice depth and layers which leads the eye smoothly through the scene. It would have been nice if the sky were more blue, especially in the upper left, but it doesn't take too much away from the beauty of the landscape. What a nice place :)

There were big, puffy clouds this day Envision....can't always get the sky exactly the way we'd like it but so glad you've seen the beauty of my place here....which is what I was really trying to photograph. Do appreciate your very thorough review. Thanks so much.
