Hmmm...and in March you can tap it. And it gives a yummy sap. And makes yummy syrup, sugar and candies. I'm coming to your house...lol. I love the colors. I think maple trees are some of the prettiest changers. Well done.

A beautiful tree in great light. The colors are outstanding and the image is very well composed. I like the woodland setting without any trappings of man (or woman either).

lol...well, VERY glad you parenthetically decided to add woman mm!! My dog and the cat are females too....not much testosterone around here. I actually had a chair over there on the left which I moved before taking this photo so good point there too. Always appreciate seeing you at the end of a review. Thank you very much.

Impressive capture!
Fine features & textures. Subtle illumination but the outburst of "colorfall" foliage seem to reverberate in the forested landscape.
Sharply focused. Good perspective & long depth of field... Thanks for sharing...

Glad you didn't see this one as 'gloomy' too Dick. Thanks for checking it out.

actually no...it was a gloriously, bright sunny day!

Why is it too dark near the shaded trunk on the lower right hand corner?
reply by the author on 19-Oct-2016
Taller trees were shading it Dick

This Sugar Maple is beautiful. It looks like the ones here in TN and the one in my yard is not quite as far along. The majority of my Maples are Red (that I dug from the woods and planted years ago) so the entire property explodes with bright red, including the Pin Oaks. This is a lovely shot Deb. Well balanced and framed. Kudos ~ Steve

It's such a gorgeous time of the year, isn't it Steve. Must have been a ton of work.....I know what transplanting one tree can be like and good for you that they all survived the big move....lol....that can be tricky too. Thanks so much for checking this one out. Always appreciate your reviews.

Very beautiful scene showing off the glorious colors of Autumn. The composition of the photo is excellent with the big round reddish-orange tree being the main focus, and the surrounding trees and ground color just as intense and vibrant as well. And just a touch blue in the sky for contrast. Thanks for sharing this lovely photo.

its that colorful time of year with nature..well for yall but not for us in my neck of the woods..we stay green all year..wink. the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the angle of the shot of the colorful leaves on the trees is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall

Very nice nature shot posted here. Its well composed with good exposure and the sharpness is fine. Perhaps there is just a little bit too much noise in the sky? The tree looks fairly similar to a British tree in autumn. Nice work!

hmmnnn...shouldn't be any noise Nik..... light level was good, ISO low, no crop. There ARE clouds in the sky. Do appreciate you checking it out though. Thanks so much.

Cool,Deb!
Your Maples are looking much the same as ours do over here in the wilds of northern 'N'Yark',my friend!
Your colorful and classy photo presents us with a really enjoyable Seasonal scene and a really 'Good Show'! : )

Wow, that's a huge tree. I love the colors; we don't get much of that here; nice rolling hills; good focus and clarity. Nice blue sky behind the Autumn colors; could be a post card. Wonderful job!

It IS huge swimmer and I may use this photo for 'October' on my 2017 calendar......it's so typical of AUTUMN around here. Thank you so much for the wonderful review and the extra star you so generously shared. I always appreciate your reviews.
