I just love that your main color focused on the brightness of yellow and the rest seems to look as if they were different shades to brown to include the two, the three and the other two birds in flight with once exception and that exception are the blooms of 11 lavender wild flowers amongst the barren land. That one tree that seemed to have been shortened perhaps by some bizarre fire that kept the bottom portion of the tree with the root underground still of a healthy state and trying to grow but only succeeding very slowly of not even one millimeter in any given year. The hills in the background becoming hazy as if the smoke of the fire years gone by has still enveloped them.

I truly can feel the arid desert, with the heat from the summer sun blazing the sky yellow. The stream in the desert, offering life to the surrounding flowers. Great picture.

Beautiful, very romantic yet surreal and peaceful. I could stare for a while. Colors are bright but it does not irritate at all, wonderfully balanced saturation! Well done.

I feel this is a well conceived wrk showing skill and attention to detail. With one exception and that is your choice of the rather harsh mustard color. Reminds me more of Mad Max than lazy hazy summer. Good luck in the contest.

This is indeed an image with a strong visual impact because of the strong yellow colors, but it is also candy for the eyes and truly lovely. I especially like the simplicity of the scene where the tree is the center of interest. I do however think that the little waterfall and the ground with flowers are done extremely well, and the birds you have placed in the sky adds interest.
It is easy to see that this is done paying very good attention to even the smallest details, and your brush work is just impressive.
It is nothing wrong with the composition either. Both the framing and format is perfect and the big tree has got a very good placement off to the right. It is a very good flow and balance in the composition, and a really well crafted digital painting. I wish you luck with the contest.
