Congratulations on this awesome capture! The leading lines are clear and defined and your heart shaped shadows between them are as if painted on the concrete. You have framed this tricky shot just right...showing as much of the real fence and possible and leaving center stage to the shadows. Your light and shadows treatment from the moment you had your camera to your eye is perfection. Nothing is blown out and the shadows aren't so black as to be overly saturated resulting in a loss of clarity. I love the geometric theme of this overall capture...right down to the squares in the concrete cutting through the shadows. Perfection...and a much deserved win.

I fell for this photo straight away because of the simplicity and the great leading lines. They are bringing the viewer right into the composition. Of course this is also an excellent entry into this contest because of how well the shadows are captured.
Your photo is also nice and sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen all over. The exposure is perfected and I like the limited color pallet.
The format and the cropping is very good and your POV could not have been better. This perspective makes for a really good and well balanced composition. Indeed a great looking and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.
