This is a very interesting photo. But than your notes add so much to the photo. Just a little thing. See if you could lighten up the left side in the shadows. Just part of the building and sea. Excellent point of view.

The colors are also well shown....natural. Love all the similar colored roofs here. Well cropped and a marvelous PoV. As I'll no doubt, ever get to Venice myself sg, I appreciate seeing it through your well handled lens!!

This is for sure a different view of Venice and the church is truly beautiful and the center of interest in this lovely scene. It is your view point I like the best about this photo, but it is also lovely the way the light is falling on the dome.
Your photo is really crisp and clear and it is sharp and well defined details to be seen in all the buildings. Great colors and a perfect exposure.
The way you have cropped the photo could not have been better and the church has got a very fine placement off to the right. I think this is a great looking and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.
