While it's a bit too saturated for my taste, as I have always been in love with the faded glory of ancient architecture, it is a beautiful photo and interesting to view. The canals weaving about and the sea beyond add cooling color and design.

a very nice shot with such clarity plus a nice story to go along with an ancient
history.
I like the red roofs as I guess it like terracotta.
nice DOF as you can see a lot of detail in it's construction.

Fred,
A beautiful sun lit picture of Santa Maria della Salute standing proud above the terracotta red roofs of the surrounding building with the blue of the canal & the sea in the back & foreground. The pearl grey domes are very eye catching both beacause of the sun streaming down on them & the fact they unlike most domes are not covered in copper?
Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
