The style is recognizable, awesome rendering to this beautiful bloom, the lighting you have realized in this painting stands out - excellent color range, beautiful softness - the colors blends so naturally into each other that is is hard so reflect even being a painting, so naturally beautiful, great choice of angle and view point hust with focus into the heart center, great details work, super use of space,
I think this is an excellent composition, naturally beautiful all the best for the contest

Well, that will not come in time for this contest. I work on a painting as this about 50 hours or more.
I will paint other Bromeliad species, might do some even closer up too.

Great work! The colors are brilliant and the dark spot captures the eye in stark contrast. The colors blend and fuse so seamlessly and the imperfect edges make it almost look like a photograph! If the edges of the flower petals were not so distinct, I would have thought it is a rendering of what you see entering a black hole.
