a great capture Mary of these two gibbons not looking at the camera but maybe listening to their mom who asked to stop fighting; lol;
excellent control of exposure for the b&w with sharp focus;

Good for you Mary L. for ditching the housework and going to the zoo! I agree wholeheartedly....and look at this wonderful photo you've gotten.

Perfect timing catching the two of them looking as if they've just heard something quite interesting. I especially like the guy looking over his shoulder....and the way the light is falling on the other guy's face....look at that wonderful sparkle in both of their eyes.

The colors are well shown and I really like that you've given them almost the entire frame. They do deserve it. All together a well considered and beautifully done shot of these two. They are just adorable and you've shown them perfectly!!

A cute & candid capture!! An interesting initial impact.
Chiaroscuro effect.
Fine features & textures. Compact framing.
Subdued lighting! Sharply focused. Nice perspective & narrow DOF.

Cool,Mary!
I've always thought that Gibbons were such fascinating little Primates and I'm really enjoying your fine looking photo of this pair of the long limbed & relatively rare 'beasties'!
A 'Good Show'? It certainly is,my friend! : )

    Thanks so much, well worth a visit particularly if your park/zoo is fence free, this one isn't but we have another one 50km away which is awesome to visit.

A fantastic shot. I like the way they are turned into the light so that their faces are beautifully illuminated. Beautiful colors and superb composition.
