What a cute and funny pose you captured of this donkey. It does really look like he's smiling too. I like the aiming of the focus on his head and mouth making it appear almost too large for his body. The color, textures, and clarity are all great. The background scenery is nice and complementary to the donkey. Nice focus and placement also.

I actually think this donkey is using Colgate, because he has really white teeth for a donkey. I am not sure he is smiling, but it looks like a smile, so I think this is a good entry for this contest.
Your photo is also nice and sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the animal. Especially in the teeth. I also think the exposure is fine.
The format you have cropped the photo into works well, and the donkey has got a very fine placement within the frame. Indeed a funny and well taken photo and I wish you luck with the contest.
