Really like this. The red lighting really works well. Yes the election is pretty scary. Race between a witch and a mad man. LOL. I think I'll vote for your zombie. LOL

LOL....well, Mary Eileen...just a tad different than your usual photos isn't it.....

Love the red brick wall. Great background for your skull and zombie arm. The candles give it a really eerie feel. Cannot imagine how you put this one together but it's exactly right for the contest. Limited color palette....spooky objects and the best part...that blood red stone wall!!

Made me laugh. Best of luck w/ your creation in the contest.

Deborah

LOL - Must be a Trump voter then. You have indeed managed to make this scene really spooky, and I especially like the limited color pallet. I also think the Topaz filters has worked wonders for this photo.

It is also nice and sharp showing really clear and well defined details, and the exposure is very appropriate. It is very nice the way the light is falling on the scull.

The cropping is perfect and all the items have got a very good placement within the frame, giving the composition a very good balance. Indeed a creative, great looking and well taken photo.

Wicked Coooooool Mary Eileen!

Love the red and low key style of lighting.
Great capture with fine details.
I may have added red light in his eyes.
Good Luck!

Excellent use of the various shades of red and orange!
The viewer starts at the skull and leads into the rest of the composition.

Strong entry in the contest!

Now that really is Halloween at its goriest. Don't really celebrate it here in Australia (although the shops are trying hard to encourage it) so don't see too much in regard to this time - your photo is very impressive with great lighting and focus.
