I find the lighting of this so pleasing, it really brings out the shape of the petals nicely. The framing is artistic and flattering. I also really like all the information you provide about the flowers you post. Very interesting story behind this one :)

I am so pleased w/ this particular photo Envision and flattered that it's nominated for Photo of the Month this month. Glad you enjoy the notes too. I learn all I can about a flower before I add it to my gardens. I do appreciate you checking this one out. Thanks so much.

The best! Seriously, an incredible capture and perfect caption relating to this exquisite shot. Love the tiny border, myriad shades, the little bit of blue and green at the bottom and center. My favorite part, aside from your perfect petals, is the way you put your light at just the right place. It looks like it's glowing on its own. Also appreciate the effort you put into your work to educate us about all kinds of flowers, to the extent that I can identify more of them at our Garden thanks to you. You did a great job presenting at the angle you used, it speaks to me with that tack sharp focus/clarity. Thanks for sharing your talents and good luck. Bea

I was at the voting booths and it stopped me in my tracks. I missed a lot in September. You're welcome, it's not for you, it's for the Mum. Just kidding. I love all Mums and this one was super. Take care Deborah. Bea

This is very nice. I really like how you filled the frame with flower petals. The lighting is just lovely... and the use of just three colors is very effective. The composition -- superb.

Wait, there is no snow on it. Are you sure this is your garden? LOL. Had to. I'm in Los Angeles this week. Too bad I don't have a plant in your area. Would bring my camera along.

Anyway, I digress. I love the image. The detail is very nice. Love the lighting. It is just beautiful.

Los Angeles huh Paul! Well I am SURE your weather will be much more gentle than mine...lol...but the snow finally melted...whew. Took this particular shot about a month ago....yes, weather changes VERY quickly in Vermont. Thank you so much for taking the time to check it out....and the gold star??? Very nice composition. I like the close up view of showing just a section of the flower. The glow/light in the center is beautiful. Nice, clear shot capturing just a hint of color. Thanks for sharing.

This is a great shot. Excellent composition by placing the center of the flower to the left.

The light seems to come from within the flower, like it is generating its own source of light.

The subtle green/yellow contrasts nicely with the white petals and black background. A simple but effective color palette.

Nice sharp focus to go along with the other positive elements.

Well done.

Outstanding capture. The lighting has excellent white balance and clarity. Tough to shot white and have this kind of clarity and sharp edges. The tight crop gives good DOF. Great marco work.

I have enough varieties of white flowers, Gary that I learned early on how to best handle the 'issues' that come up when shooting white. Do appreciate your time checking them out. Thanks so much.
