Excellent work. The hairyness of the flower is reminiscent of human skin and thereby throws off a "chill" factor down my spine.
The detail on the fly is exquisite. The tonal quality, the sharpmess is so precise. It's a joy to see this beast close up and personal.
Nice thought out crop and placement of fly into the large rectangular format.

it is more than human skin: Stapelia is a carrion flower with an awful smell, polinated by flies only; in order to attract them, in addition to the smell, it has the color and hairs simiar to an animal.....anus
