I don't feel like this photograph has received enough attention :) The colors are wonderfully rich. The focus is clear and crisp and shows off the pattern in his head feathers perfectly. Adding the red flowers on both sides of the framing was a nice touch too.

I like this unusual shot of the beautiful Lorikeet, Mary. I remember them well from my visits to Australia a few years ago. You feel that you could just reach out and touch him. Very good lighting and focus showing great detail in his markings. Very nice composition. Suzanne

I had great pleasure seeing these beautiful coloured birds when visiting friend in Coogee. This is an excellent shot highlighting its" multicoloured coat".Great focus on its environment and feeding routine. Considering the dense bushes you have been patient enough to catch it near surface. Nicely done.
