Thanks for your nice comments! You are probably correct about the name.

What a powerful image of the monuments of Utah. Nice use of clouds that lead the eye to the subject matter. I wonder if a polarizing filter would help deepen the blues and add warmth and contrast to the rocks? JUst a thought.

Your kind review is much appreciated! Your suggestions do make sense, but at the time I was too excited by the scene to think along the lines you have suggested!!

I have been here and I want you to know that I immediately saw the three gossips. I don't know what time of year you visited but I do not recommend July as one of the months to go there unless you are a fan of heat. This photo has great design with the clouds appearing to stream from the cliff itself. The angle, natural lighting and textures are pleasing. Good Luck!

Many thanks for your very nice and kind review! I visited in Oct 2014 and it was still fairly warm.

I like the angle you used for this, showing the interesting intricate markings in the rock face with the clouds making contrasting lines in the sky. Very good lighting and focus. Great composition. Suzanne

Excellent capture! I drove past that but couldnt get a shot of it. You did well in many ways: rule of thirds, pulling in different patterns and textures, excellent color, superb clarity. Very Nicely done!!!

What a fantastic spot Nik and you've photographed it so well.
Really good job w/ focus. The details of the rock formation are crisp and sharp...as is the foreground. Nothing over-done w/ colors and that blue sky and wispy clouds are a beautiful backdrop.
Those amazing rock formations look like they go on forever. USA has some of the best National Parks anywhere I think.
If I was to do anything different w/ this photo it might be the crop. I think you could lose just a tad off the lower edge frame but...lol...that's only b/c I think the rock formation is so fascinating. Nicely done piece here Nik.

Beautiful natural landscape shot! Great depth of field. The wispy clouds and blue skies are a great contrast to the jagged edges of the rock formations. Nice foreground, gives a reference of distance. All color is well represented. Nice work!

Ooh the movement in this shot from the cloud formation is beautiful which draws the viewers eye as it almost acts as a framework for the main subject which is this powerful rock formation... Great clarity with the focusing giving it a gorgeous sharpness to the whole presentation

Very pretty. I really like the great detail on the cliffs. Excellent color and sky. Nice presentation. You might try bumping up the saturation just a bit to give it a little more pop. Thanks for sharing.
