I am not at all familiar with this plant but it does look interesting! Your full and central composition provides us with lots to look at and enjoy. The image has good exposure and is sharp. Well done!

~I still remember when i was 5,6, and 7 playing with my older sis and younger sis and we would always find these and tear them open and dance with the seeds falling around blasting music in our backyard.~

This is such a technical photo, and being in a scientific field, I cannot help but appreciate your detail in this. Great clarity, focus, and composition. Nice job. Thank you so much for sharing.

Thank you very much as always. I appreciate it :)

An explosion of beauty for sure! If you shot this at 1/60th the seeds must not have been moving but there's lot of perceived motion in this photo. Lovely colors and excellent cropping. The square format is ideal.

Hi Envision!
'And away they go!'
That's an attractive and pleasantly unusual picture,my friend! ( And it's a very well-photographed scene as well! )
'Good Show'!

Nature in abstract, it come across as a very interesting composition. The dark background bring out the delicate white fluff of the numerous explosive seeds as they leave the open pod. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful capture with superb control on white balance Miss G!
Understanding white balance and lighting is a must in photography and you have nailed it here.
The clarity of those silk like white whisky hairs are fantastic.
Excellent focus, Exposure and fine details.
Fantabulous capture!

Beautiful work here Grace!

Sharp, crisp focus....lovely soft color....perfectly exposed and then cropped. Wow...you did EVERYTHING right w/ this shot...you've turned the common little milkweed into just a stunning photo.

Sooo happy I have a six left Grace. Your gorgeous little square format shot most definitely deserves it!!

Photographic art, beautiful work here.

The exactness of dof is seen ...your exposure is spot on and that was easy to blow out but you didn't, the colour palette is stunning but it is the story....the pop of the milkweed is felt.

Sorry if I'm gushing over this but it is really worth hanging up on your wall.

I always think of the joke of the country boy asking to get milk from a milkweed..to long to tell..lol. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of the milkweed is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye interesting to the viewer. good eye and great job overall..so now we need to go find some honeysuckle to get honey...duuuuhh..lol. wink.
