The light on the water is beautiful and what an amazing experience to see this. Your composition is excellent with the elephant well placed. I wish your positioning of the camera had been lower so the land line didn't run through the animal's head. Also wish he were more side on so his shape were more distinctive, but I'm guessing he wouldn't have taken artistic direction too well :)

Would not have to tell me twice. Were you in a boat or on shore. The sepia tones along with the sunset is stunning. The light gleaming along the surface pops the backlighting of the charging elephant. Nice capture.

Oh well at first I was kind of bummed that I couldn't see more details in the Elephant but the more I look at it the more I like the way you did this one it has a very almost menacing feel to it especially with the title which makes me like it more and more amazing capture thanks for sharing.

he is pissed and you are still standing there? brave man! wink. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of the pissed off elephant in the water come towards is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye interesting to the viewer. good eye and great job overall. now...RUN!!! A great picture of the charging bull Elephant ears flapping like the outline of Africa the sunbeam across the water lighting his path as he charges towards you. Beautiful composition of really wild Africa, beautiful framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Thought you had 'sepia-d' this at first but realize it's just the way the light is. It's wonderful on the water and you caught a most interesting shot considering this HUGE guy was so unhappy you'd interrupted his bath.
