Oh wow! Great stuff - that is Santa! The lighting is perfectly played and colors grandly about the sky. Nice placement of this fellow in the frame, he controls it. Fabulous and grandly fun. Thanks for sharing.

Very cool photo! Clouds are difficult to capture because they are constantly moving and changing shape, and they're hard (at least for me) to focus on and get clear pics of. I do think this looks like Santa a little bit. The contrast of the cloud against the dark blue sky is very cool. Well done!

Only Santa would appear in the clouds just for you!
After all...he sees you when your Sleeping, knows when your awake with camera in hand! Pfft!
Nice white balance control and fine focus.
Very cool find and capture Grace!

An interesting shot. I think it is remarkable that this cloud is so isolated in the sky. After looking at it for a while I can see how your might think it looks like Santa. I guess I rarely look that closely at clouds and almost never look for similarity to people or objects.

Thank you! I'm surprised that you don't look closely at clouds with the your interest in birds. I guess your focus is on the birds :)

Yes, I agree--as opposed to stratocumulus...

Well, it indeed look like a weary eyed Old Santa...
Why is he called Santa & not Santo?!? LoL!
An artistic rendition. Monochromatic colors. Excellent details & features. Impressive subject & textures.
Discerning eyes you have!
Thanks for sharing...
