Lovely photo. Your exposure and focus are spot on. Color is vibrant and not over saturated. Composition lovely. I'm not a fan of the floating frame, would prefer that a solid color, but that is personal preference. Well done.

I, as you well know, love that kind of framing you do and you did explain to me how to do it. I have yet to try. Those frames seem to accentuate the main water drenched flower....there is a visual echo seen and felt.

Good contrast, nice saturation....honest photography.

In Ireland a Grand Soft Day / Scottish Mist is that kind of rain that falls soft on your skin & you take some time to realise you are soaked to the skin by it! It also used in an Iconic way on a day when the rain seems to be falling FOR EVER & after it stops all the bushes & trees are left dripping for sometime.
I'm happy you like the frame as many people on here DO not.

When I have been rained on in Ireland(several times!) I never noticed it being soft! Are those fuchsia blooms really still going in December?? Like your composition but not sure about the border. Your exposure is spot on and the sharpness is good. Well done, a very enjoyable flower shot!

Soft rain in an Irish sense is equal to Scots mist meaning you can stand out in it for a while before you realise... you are soaked to the skin! A grand Soft Day usually means it has rained ALL day & shows little sign of stopping.
In truth Switzerland is wetter than Ireland..there it rains on average one day in three..in Ireland it's one day in four.
