This is awesome. How much patience this had to take to be able to draw in such detail and depth. It is a fabulous cover and one that you hopefully won an award for. I think this is fabulous and a great entry. Lots of luck.

Mama Mia, so love you name. The movie too! But thank you so very much for taking time and the encouraging review. I did enjoy doing this and this type of work for many little squiggles all of a sudden turns into 1 big squiggle and you realize you are done. Blessings my friend for a Christmas full of Wonder.

Thank you so much Ronnie for your great review. I was told a very long time ago a squiggle and a wiggle keeps the doctor away! ;). This is my favorite medium. Next time I will put a Waldo in a strip shirt and see who can find him. Blessings my friend and have a Awesome Christmas!

a great piece of art work and very apt for the contest. I like the textures throughout this piece, the detail is excellent and very well structured scape with the less crowded sky breaking the presentation up which was a good idea as a cloudy sky could very easily made this too much of a scrambled mess but it works and the tones and shadows work brilliantly..good luck

Thank you so very much for your detailed and encouraging review. Many little squiggles turned into one big squiggle. This is the way I picture Oliver Twist and his city. Forgotten in the shadows. This was quite fun. I do Thank You and may you have a very Blessed Christmas my friend.

Wow! This drawing is just so detailed, and I love how you left it black and white. The India ink really made this drawing look wonderful. Using Oliver Twist as the subject is very creative :) Thanks for sharing :)

Thank you for the most humbling 6 star rating. Tons of squiggles turned into one big one. The Christmas season and a play about Oliver went together. My daughter calls it Chicken Scratch. Guess it's better than chicken poop. Well, you certainaly fill my heart with joy by your rating.
Blessings my friend and may you have a very Merry Christmas.

It's funny you start out with one small doodle and you come up with this. A lot to look at. Very intricate. Love the lettering on the billboards. Great job.

Thank you so very much for taking time to review and it being encouraging. You are the 1st to notice the billboards. Great EYES! I doodle and dream. I sure would of loved to live this ERA, just for a while. Maybe I should hide Waldo somewhere in a striped shirt. Ha! Blessings my friend and may your Christmas be full of Wonder!

this is a fantastic idea. lovely notion and concept, through the historic (central) london. it's a scene i know very well but sadly with now, some glass skyscrapers, that blot our landscape. your picture really captures the hustle and bustle of city life. would be really nice to see on a larger scale, as so many fine details to discover. nothing captures our imagination like victorian london and this ink depiction reflects the vibe (of today and yesterday).

Oh my Mr. Jones, I am deeply honored for such a high review. Some refere this TO doodles but you have a wonderful eye for detail. Yes, I did try to put fine details in it. India ink and watercolors are two of my favorite mediums. I have never been to London. Oh! How I wish I could beam myself back to this era. I read many books on history and visualize what it would be like. Then I doodle. You Sir have made my day and for this I deeply THANK YOU. Many Blessings to you my friend~

Thank you so very much for your review. Times like this in the era of Oliver Twist sure seems to replay the era over and over. Yes, the world is pitiful and blank. I often wonder what Was it really like back then? I have a 24 yr old daughter and have instilled in her to BE THE CHANGE SHE WANTS TO SEE IN THIS WORLD. I pray and hope she replaces evil with caring and kindness. I know it will be a challenge.

a very nice cityscape entry, as it is a very nice story to read as I spot many top hats even the carriage driver. you have plenty of details to view as it may take time to enjoy. as I love the buildings with there great
detail showing that period as I like the signs on the buildings as well.
as all the people add a lot of depth in the drawing that must have taken some time and dedication on your part. a great picture to view as it keeps the eye busy looking for new thing you miss. thank you for sharing.:-) a pleasure.
good luck.
always,
ron
